Leslie has been weaving since the mid 70's. She is self taught having taken numerous workshops and seminars, completing the Boston Weavers' Guild Apprentice and Journeyman ratings. Both her biology/botany educational background and her daily computer usage in her job find applications in her weaving. She works on an eight shaft computer aided loom, using the number of shafts as a challenge to create complex looking cloth. Many ideas germinate when enjoying nature.
