Before the First Cut - A Paper Vest

The vest is a great garment to combine woven and commercial cloth. Following a slide presentation, students will create one of a kind paper vests. The ideas gleaned can then be transformed into real vests either in the workshop or back home. Vest patterns and construction techniques will be discussed and demonstrated. Both woven fabric scans and commercial fabric scans will be available. Students can bring their own scans.
